Handling loss is never an easy or fun task to accomplish. You may look at our system and think it's easier for us considering we have alters made for handling such things. The truth is, it's never going to be easy, the only difference is our support system is inside of our head for the most part, while other people have theirs in the physical world.

Just recently we went through a tragic loss, while it has been beneficial to have our support system so close to us and available 24/7, it has not made anything easier.

Loss and Grieving is something everyone handles differently, some do it silently, some do it loudly, some close themselves off while others open up for the world to see. None of this matters, what matters is that each of them are healing, in their own unique, weird, special way.

We've been reaching out to our friends and family, we've been spending more time around the ones that make us happy. Some days are worse than others, our house hasn't felt like home in a while, but we're making progress. We've kept our routine up, continued pushing forward, because we know, one day, we'll be alright. We just need to work towards that day.

No matter what you are going through, no matter what someone else is going through, there's always a way out. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel, the only thing you need to ask yourself is, Are you willing to make your way towards it?
